Kevin Welling, President & Chairman
Kevin Welling is a multi-talented entrepreneur and accomplished professional with a diverse background spanning technology, business, and sports. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's in Business Administration from Cornell University, Kevin's educational journey laid the foundation for his remarkable career trajectory.
As an entrepreneur, Kevin has demonstrated an innate knack for innovation and business acumen. He is the visionary founder of G Cue Billiards, which later transformed into the renowned establishment Skinny Bob's. Additionally, Kevin has successfully founded six other businesses, each contributing to his reputation as a serial entrepreneur with a Midas touch.
Kevin's professional journey also includes stints at high-tech giants like IBM and Dell, where he honed his skills in product management and business development. With a global perspective, Kevin has served as a product manager for medical devices and specialized in accounting and finance software, showcasing his versatility and adaptability across industries.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Kevin has a love for the sport of billiards. In 1994, he clinched the prestigious title of the Southwest 8-Ball League Texas State Champion.
Driven by a relentless passion for excellence and a commitment to pushing boundaries, Kevin Welling continues to make waves in both the business world and the realm of competitive sports. Paul Guernsey, Treasurer
With a distinguished career spanning over 40 years in finance and management, Mr. Guernsey stands as a pillar of expertise and leadership in his field. Since 1993, he has served as CFO and VP (1993-2012) and currently holds the position of President at The Hartnett Group, where he oversees a team of 400+ employees engaged in real estate development, restaurant operations, and asset management activities. Prior to his tenure at The Hartnett Group, Mr. Guernsey held CFO positions in various private and public companies across the real estate, mortgage banking, and childcare industries.
Mr. Guernsey's journey in finance began in public accounting, where he specialized in audit, tax, and management services. A member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, he holds a bachelor's degree in business from Ferris State University.
Beyond his illustrious professional accomplishments, Mr. Guernsey is deeply committed to giving back to his community. He has served on the Board of Trustees of a public REIT, various civic and non-profit entities, and has held the esteemed position of past president of a local Rotary Club.
In addition to his contributions to the world of finance and philanthropy, Mr. Guernsey is a passionate billiards player with an impressive track record. A former Michigan State 9-ball champion and five-time BCA National 8-ball title holder, he has been an active participant in the Texas pool scene for over 35 years. His dedication to excellence both on and off the billiards table serves as a testament to his unwavering commitment to success in all endeavors.

Randy Goettlicher, Vice President
With over 65 years of dedication to the sport of billiards, Randy Goettlicher has left an indelible mark on the pool community. For a quarter of a century, Randy owned and operated the largest Billiard Congress of America (BCA) sanctioned pool league in the United States. His visionary leadership extended beyond leagues, co-founding the groundbreaking original Pool School in the USA, based in Texas since 1982. Alongside his wife Karen, Randy developed the internationally recognized pool format, "SCOTCH DOUBLES", adding a new dimension to competitive play.
Randy's influence on the global pool scene is further exemplified by his roles as Chairperson of the BCA/World Pool Rules Committee and Vice Chairperson of the record-holding Texas Express 9-Ball Tour. Under his guidance, Texas Express hosted thousands of tournaments across all 50 states, setting a standard for excellence in competition and player payouts. Notably, the Texas Express 9-Ball Rules established by Randy have become a benchmark adopted worldwide.
In recognition of his extraordinary contributions, Randy Goelicher has been honored with induction into the American Cue-Sports Hall of Fame. His lifelong commitment to building and supporting the sport of billiards has not only shaped its past but continues to influence its future. Randy's passion and dedication serve as an inspiration to players and enthusiasts alike, ensuring the enduring legacy of billiards for generations to come.
